Title: “The Power of Serving”
Family, in a world that constantly teaches us to climb higher, Jesus teaches us to kneel lower. True greatness, He said, isn’t measured by titles, platforms, or applause. It’s measured by how well we serve others.
Serving doesn’t make you less; it actually makes you more like Jesus. When you serve, you reflect His heart. When you put others before yourself, you display His love. And when you give your time, your talent, or your compassion, you’re joining Christ in His mission to touch lives and lift burdens.
But here’s the truth, serving isn’t always convenient. It often costs us something: our comfort, our schedule, our pride. Yet it’s in those moments of sacrifice that we look the most like our Savior.
“You’re never more like Jesus than when you’re serving someone who can’t repay you.”
Reflection Question: Who can you intentionally serve this week, without expecting anything in return?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for showing me that true greatness comes through humility. Give me a servant’s heart that looks for opportunities to bless others. Help me to serve faithfully, joyfully, and selflessly just as You served me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
