“When the Moment Feels Heavy”

Family, I know this is coming a day late, but maybe it is right on time.

As I reflect on Sunday, I am reminded that even Jesus had a moment where the weight felt overwhelming. In Gethsemane, He was honest about what He felt, He took it to the Father in prayer, and then He surrendered to God’s will.

That speaks to us, because we all have moments that feel heavy. Moments where the pressure is real and the answers do not come easy. But Jesus shows us what to do with that weight. Take it to God and trust Him with the outcome.

“You do not have to pretend it is light. Just make sure you take it to the right place.”

What heavy moment do you need to stop carrying alone and start placing in God’s hands today?

Prayer:

Lord, You know the weight I am carrying. Help me to be honest with You, trust You in it, and surrender to Your will even when it is hard. Amen.
