Paul acknowledges that our flesh is weak—but that doesn’t mean we make peace with sin. You may be human, but you’re also His. God doesn’t lower His standard—He raises you through His Spirit. Being human is not an excuse; it’s a reason to seek Him daily. His Spirit in you enables you to live above the cravings of your flesh.

Are there areas where you've used your humanity as an excuse rather than an invitation to seek help from God?

Prayer:
Father, help me never to settle for weakness but to seek strength in You. I want to live in a way that honors who I belong to—You. Amen.
