Day 2: Love That Reaches the Depths

Reading: Romans 5:6-11

God's love for us is not contingent on our lovability or worthiness. As we read in Romans, Christ died for us while we were still sinners. This radical love forms the foundation of our faith and identity. 

Reflect on the depth of God's love for you personally. How does it feel to know that God loved you at your worst? Consider those in your life who may be difficult to love - how might God's unconditional love for you change your perspective towards them? 

Today, challenge yourself to extend grace to someone who may not "deserve" it, just as God has done for you.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for loving me at my worst. Your love found me when I was far from You and brought me near.

Help me today to love others the same way — not based on what they deserve, but based on the grace You’ve shown me. Teach me to extend kindness and compassion, even when it’s difficult. Let Your love flow through me today.
