Monday Manna w/ Pastor Batiste - “Stop Going Back There”

You know, I am reminded how easy it is to go back to places that can no longer give us life. Just like the women at the tomb, we can carry sincere hearts but still have the wrong expectations. They came looking for Jesus in a place where dead things stay.

And if we are honest, we can do the same. We go back to what hurt us, what failed us, and what drained us, hoping it will feel different this time. But resurrection reminds us of this truth: life is not found in what is dead.

Jesus is not in the tomb. He is alive. And because He is alive, we do not have to keep revisiting places where hope has already died.

“Stop expecting dead places to give you living results.”

Reflection Question: What place, habit, or mindset do you need to stop returning to because God has already moved you forward?

Prayer:

Lord, help me to stop looking for life in places that cannot give it. Redirect my heart to You and remind me that true life is found in You alone. Amen.
