Monday Manna w/ Pastor Batiste - Don’t Ignore What Keeps You Clear”
This morning, as I was driving in the rain, I could not see clearly because I had been ignoring the fact that I needed new wiper blades. I knew they needed to be replaced, but I kept putting it off. When the rain started falling, what I had ignored began to affect what I could see.
That experience made me think about what happens spiritually.
Yesterday, we ended our Clarity series with “Seeing What Matters Most.” Martha was busy with many things, but Mary chose to sit at the feet of Jesus. Martha was not distracted by something evil. She was distracted by something good. Yet even good things can blur our vision when they pull us away from what matters most.
So let us not ignore the message like I ignored my wiper blades. When the rain of life starts falling, neglected priorities can make it harder to see clearly.
This week, choose the better part. Sit with Jesus before you serve for Jesus, and let Him clear your vision.
What have you been ignoring spiritually that may be clouding your vision?
Prayer: Lord, help me choose what matters most. Teach me to sit at Your feet, hear Your voice, and walk this week with clear vision. Amen.
