Monday Manna w/ Pastor Batiste - “Still Work to Do”

Everywhere we look, there are reminders that the work of ministry is still needed. Someone needs prayer. Someone needs encouragement. Someone needs direction. Someone needs to know that Jesus still cares.

That is what we were reminded of in Matthew 9. Jesus looked at the crowds and was moved with compassion. He did not just see a crowd. He saw people who were hurting, helpless, and in need of care.

And that is the heart we must carry as a church.

The need may be great, and the workers may be few, but the harvest still belongs to God. Our responsibility is to stay faithful, keep serving, and remain available when the Lord calls our name.

Prayer: Lord, give me compassion for people and faithfulness for the work. Help me not to complain about the need, but to be willing to serve where You send me. Amen.
