Monday Manna w/ Pastor Batiste - “God Was Working All Along”

Family, in church yesterday, we looked at Joseph’s story and were reminded that some seasons do not make sense while we are in them. In the middle of pain, betrayal, delay, or disappointment, all you can see is what is happening right now. But Joseph teaches us that right now is not the whole story.

If I can be honest, yesterday’s message was for me as your pastor. Before I preached it to you, God was preaching it to me. It reminded me that there are some things we do not understand while we are going through them, but God is still working behind the scenes.

Joseph was betrayed, rejected, lied on, forgotten, and delayed. Yet when he finally looked back, he could say, “You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.” Joseph did not deny the pain, but he also did not let it have the final word.

That is the reminder for us this week: God is still working, even now. You may not understand it yet, but He is holding what you cannot explain and guiding what you cannot trace. One day, you may look back and say, “God was working all along.”

Prayer: Lord, help me trust You in the middle of what I cannot understand. Give me faith to believe that You are working, even when I cannot see it. Help me acknowledge the pain, trust Your hand, and believe there is purpose in what You allow. In Jesus' name! Amen.
