Monday Manna w/ Pastor Batiste - “Plan With God”

If you are reading this devotion this morning, it is because God has allowed you to see another day.

As you wisely plan out your day, your week, or even the rest of this month, make sure you plan with God. There is nothing wrong with setting goals, making appointments, or preparing for what is ahead. But yesterday’s message reminded us not to make plans as though tomorrow belongs to us.

James teaches us to hold our plans with an open hand and a humble heart. We can say, “This is what I want to do,” while still leaving room to say, “Lord, if You have another direction, I trust You.” 

So whatever is on your calendar this week, remember this: you can make the plan, but God has the final say.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for allowing me to see another day. As I make plans, help me keep You at the center. Give me wisdom to plan and faith to trust Your will even when You change mine. Amen.
