Monday Manna w/ Pastor Batiste - “The Answer Is Still Prayer”
Yesterday we finished our series “Real Faith” on a topic that can never be talked about enough in Christianity: Prayer.
If there is one thing I hope we carry with us from yesterday’s message, it is this: do not underestimate what happens when you pray.
Sometimes we spend so much time thinking and worrying about the problem that prayer becomes the last thing we do instead of the first place we turn.
But James reminds us that prayer belongs in every season. When you are hurting, pray. When you are happy, praise. When you are weak, ask somebody to pray with you. And when you do not know what to do next, pray anyway.
And please remember this: you do not need a title for God to hear you. You do not need to be a pastor, bishop, elder, or preacher. God hears ordinary people who believe enough to call on Him. THE ANSWER IS PRAYER
Prayer: Lord, teach me to make prayer my first response and not my last resort. Help me trust that You hear me, that You care, and that You can still work in ways I cannot see. Amen.
