Title: “The Blessing Behind the No”
Family, yesterday we saw David bring God a sincere desire—to build Him a house. It was a good plan with a good heart behind it. But God still said no. Not because David was wrong, but because God had a bigger plan already in motion.
That reminds us that a no from God is never meant to destroy us, it’s meant to direct us.
His “no” protects us, positions us, and prepares us for something better than we imagined. David didn’t get the assignment he wanted, but he received the purpose God intended.
“God’s no may close a door, but it always opens the right one.”
Reflection Question:
Where might God be redirecting you not to stop you, but to set you up for something greater?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the doors You close. Help me trust that every “no” carries Your wisdom, Your love, and Your purpose. Amen.
