“What My Giving Says About My Heart”
Family, as I reflect on yesterday’s message, I’m reminded that giving is never just about money, it’s about the heart behind it. What we release reveals what we trust. What we hold onto often reveals what we fear.
Paul teaches us that generosity flows from perspective, motive, trust, and purpose. When I see giving as seed and not loss, my hands stay open. When I decide in my heart and not in the moment, my giving becomes worship. And when I remember that God is my Source, generosity stops being stressful and starts being joyful.
Here’s the truth I want us to carry this week:
God doesn’t just look at what we give, He looks at how and why we give.
When our hearts are right, our giving becomes a testimony, our obedience turns into ministry, and God gets the glory.
“A giving heart is not measured by the amount released, but by the trust behind it.”
Reflection Question: When I give, what does my heart reveal about what I truly trust?
Prayer
Lord, shape my heart to give in a way that honors You. Help me trust You as my Source, give with joy, and live generously so that You receive the glory through my obedience. Amen.
