“Don’t Carry It Into 2026”
Family, as we close out 2025, I want to leave you with this reminder: failure is not final when Jesus is involved. Peter denied Jesus, felt the weight of it, and tried to go back to what was familiar, but Jesus met him right there and gave him a fresh start.
What blesses me is that Jesus didn’t shame Peter for where he fell. He restored him, spoke purpose over him, and simply said, “Follow Me.”
So as we step into a new year, don’t carry guilt, regret, or yesterday’s mistakes into tomorrow’s calling. If Jesus is still calling you, your story is not over.
“God can redeem what you regret and restart what you thought was ruined.”
Reflection Question:
What do you need to release before you step into 2026 so you can follow Jesus with a lighter heart?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for bringing me to the end of this year. Help me let go of what’s behind and walk into what’s ahead with faith. I’m ready to follow You again. Amen.
