Title: "When Jesus Flips the Tables"

Sometimes the most loving thing God can do for us… is turn our lives upside down. In Matthew 21, Jesus walked into the temple during Passover week and found it filled with noise, greed, and distraction instead of worship, prayer, and reverence. He didn’t ignore it—He confronted it, corrected it, and cleansed it.

And here’s the truth: our lives are temples too. When clutter—whether it’s sin, bitterness, misplaced priorities, or spiritual apathy takes over the sacred space of our hearts, Jesus won’t simply walk past it. Out of love, He’ll step in and flip the tables. Not to shame us, but to restore us.

Spiritual detox isn’t comfortable, but it is necessary. You can’t grow stronger in God while holding on to what’s slowly draining your soul. The Lord loves you too much to let you live with what doesn’t belong.

Reflection: What “tables” in your heart has God been trying to flip but you keep setting them back up? Remember when He overturns something, it’s not punishment… it’s preparation.

Prayer: Lord, I give You full access to every part of my heart. Confront what I’ve tolerated, correct what I’ve replaced, and cleanse what I’ve contaminated. Make my life a place where You dwell with joy. Amen.

Walk into this week with a surrendered heart. Let God clean out the clutter so He can fill you with His presence. You were made for more than the mess, live like it. Have a blessed and focused week!
