Monday Manna w/ Pastor Batiste - “When Life Looks Blurry”

Jun 8, 2026    Pastor Lamar Batiste

This morning, I woke up and, as always, when I first opened my eyes, everything around me was blurry.

Have you ever had that happen? You wake up, open your eyes, and before anything becomes clear, you have to rub your eyes, blink a few times, and give yourself a moment to focus. Sometimes our day starts that way physically, but if we are honest, some seasons feel that way spiritually.

We are awake, but things still look unclear. We are moving, but we are still trying to understand what God is doing. We believe, but some things still feel blurry.

That is what blessed me about the man in Mark 8. He was honest with Jesus and said, “I see people, but I can’t see them very clearly.” What I love is that Jesus did not leave him there. He touched him again until he could see clearly.

As we face this week, do not pretend everything is clear if it is still confusing. Bring the blurry places to Jesus. Ask Him to touch your vision, your faith, your focus, and your direction.

“Clarity begins when we are honest enough to admit what is still blurry.”

Where do you need Jesus to touch your vision so you can see clearly again?

Prayer

Lord, help me to be honest about what is still blurry in my life. Touch my heart, clear my vision, and guide my steps so I can see You, trust You, and follow You more clearly. Amen.
