Title: “When Grace Meets Guilt”

There are moments in life when we’ve messed up—and we know it. No excuses, no finger-pointing, just us and the guilt we carry. David found himself in that same place, and in Psalm 51, he reminds us that God isn’t looking for perfection—He’s looking for honesty. God can do more with a heart that’s broken than with one that pretends to have it all together. You don’t have to perform for grace. You don’t have to be perfect to be loved. All God asks is that we bring Him what’s real. If guilt has been loud in your life lately, let this encourage you: grace still speaks louder. And the place where you feel most unworthy may be the very place where grace is ready to work.

Reflection: What are you holding back from God that He’s ready to heal?

“God can do more with a broken heart than a fake smile.”

Prayer: Lord, I come to You just as I am—no filter, no performance. I bring my guilt, my shame, and my brokenness. Thank You for meeting me with grace. Heal my heart and restore me from the inside out. Amen.

I just want you to know that whatever you're facing, you're not facing it alone. God’s grace is real, His love is constant, and His desire to restore is greater than any mistake you’ve made. Keep showing up. Keep trusting Him. And remember, brokenness is not the end of your story—it might just be the beginning of something new. I'm praying with you and for you. - Pastor Lamar Batiste, MTS
