“Don’t Just Hear It — Live It”

Yesterday we were reminded that hearing the Word is not enough. James makes it plain that it is possible to hear truth, enjoy truth, and still walk away unchanged. 

The Word of God is like a mirror. It shows us what needs attention, what needs correction, and what needs to come into alignment. But the blessing is not in looking at the mirror. The blessing is in responding to what it reveals.

So as you move through this week, don’t just remember the sermon, live the Word. Let it shape your attitude, your response, and your decisions.

Because in the Kingdom, the goal is not just to hear the Word.

The goal is to be changed by it.

What is one thing God showed you that you need to live out this week?

Prayer:

Lord, help us not to be hearers only, but doers of Your Word. Let what we heard shape how we live this week. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
