Title: “You’ll Eat What You Speak”
Family, Proverbs teaches us that words are not just sounds that disappear into the air. They are seeds planted into the soil of life, and eventually, they grow into a harvest you will have to eat. That means the words you speak today will show up tomorrow, in your home, in your relationships, and even in your own spirit.
If you’re always speaking fear, don’t be surprised when you live in anxiety. If you constantly speak negativity, don’t wonder why joy is missing. But the good news is this: if you speak faith, you’ll reap strength. If you speak peace, you’ll harvest calm. If you speak life, you’ll see life grow all around you.
So here’s the truth—you’ll eat what you speak. If you don’t like the harvest you’re tasting right now, it’s time to start planting new seeds with your mouth.
“Words are seeds. If you want a different future, start planting different words today.”
Reflection Question:
What kind of harvest are your words creating in your life right now and what needs to change?
Prayer:
Lord, help me to be mindful of the seeds I’m planting with my words. Teach me to speak life, hope, and truth so that my harvest reflects Your will. Let my mouth be a fountain of encouragement and not a source of harm. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
