Monday Manna w/ Pastor Batiste - “When You’re Tired of Being Strong”
As I reflect on Sunday, my heart goes out to those who are silently saying, “I’ve had enough.” Elijah loved God, served God, and had seen God move, yet he still reached a place where his soul was tired.
But what blessed me is that God did not rebuke him for being weary. God met him with care. He gave him rest. He gave him strength. He reminded him that his life was not over.
Somebody needs to hear this before beginning their week: you are not weak because you are tired. You are human. And God is not disappointed in your exhaustion. He is present in it.
“Your breaking point is not the end of your story when your life is in God’s hands.”
Reflection Question:
What have you been carrying silently that you need to let God care for today?
Prayer:
Lord, I’m tired, but I still trust You. Meet me where I am, restore what life has drained, and remind me that You are not finished with me. Amen.
