Monday Manna w/ Pastor Batiste
Title: This Is What the Church Looks Like
Family, my heart is still full from yesterday. We saw a real need… and as a church, we stepped in and met it. Someone needed help, and Mt. Gillion showed up with the resources they needed.
That’s what we’re called to do.
That’s what the church looks like.
That’s what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
As your pastor, I want to say thank you. Your giving, your compassion, your willingness to respond — that’s ministry. Let’s not let yesterday be a one-time moment. Let it be a picture of who we are, every week, everywhere God sends us.
“We don’t just go to church — we are the church.”
Reflection Question:
Who might God place in front of you this week that needs the same kind of love and help we showed yesterday?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for using our church to meet needs. Keep our eyes open, our hearts tender, and our hands ready to serve. Help us continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our city. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
