Title: “No Turning Back”

Family, yesterday’s message has been sitting heavy on my heart. Jesus made it clear that following Him is more than words—it’s a walk of commitment. He’s not just looking for those who say, “Lord, I’ll follow You,” but for those who keep following when the road gets rough.

The truth is, it’s easy to start strong. It’s easy to say yes when the path is smooth and the blessings are flowing. But real discipleship shows up when the journey gets hard—when obedience costs you comfort, when faith requires sacrifice, and when commitment means letting go of what’s behind you.

Jesus said, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom.” He wasn’t being harsh—He was being honest. You can’t move forward in faith while still looking backward in fear. You can’t reach for what’s next if you’re still holding onto what was.

So this week, make up your mind—no turning back. Keep your eyes forward, your hands steady, and your heart fixed on Jesus. The same God who called you is the same God who’ll keep you.

“Don’t let yesterday’s comfort rob you of tomorrow’s calling.”

Reflection Question:

What have you been tempted to look back at that’s keeping you from moving forward in full obedience to Christ?

Prayer:

Lord, help me to stay focused on You. When the road gets rough, remind me that purpose is worth more than comfort. Strengthen my heart to follow You without hesitation, without excuses, and without turning back. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
