“When God Doesn’t Move It”

Family, yesterday we talked about something we all carry but rarely admit—thorns.

Not the temporary struggles, but those long-term weights and situations that seem to have no end date.

Paul asked God three times to remove his thorn, and God still said no. Not because Paul lacked faith, but because God had a greater purpose. Instead of moving the thorn, God strengthened Paul.

And sometimes that’s where we are too. We’ve prayed, we’ve believed, and the thorn is still there.

But here’s our hope: God may not move it, but He will give you grace to stand under it.

His strength shows up right where we feel the weakest.

“When God doesn’t move the thorn, He matures the believer.”

Reflection Question: Where do you need to rely on God’s grace instead of waiting for the thorn to disappear?

Prayer:

Lord, when You choose not to move it, help me trust Your grace. Strengthen me in my weakness and remind me that Your purpose is greater than my pain. Amen.
